Victim Witness Services

What is Victim Witness Services?

We offer services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and other felony crimes in Belknap County, NH. Our experience enables us to offer support and referrals and to guide victims through the criminal justice process. We ensure that the Victims Bill of Rights is adhered to.

Being a victim of a crime can carry significant burdens - emotional, physical, and financial. Trauma, anxiety, and stress are not uncommon. We can help you navigate these issues by assisting you with the criminal justice process and connecting you to available resources.

The Belknap County Attorney Office's Victim Witness program is partially funded through a state-federal grant through the NH State Department of Justice (DOJ) Victims Of Crime Act (VOCA) program.  Local and County resources also fund this program.

*Belknap County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity, in the delivery of services and in employment practices.  If you feel that you have been discriminated against as a
beneficiary of the NH DOJ funding received through the Belknap County NH Victim Witness Program, please contact our office.
